Bashar Barakah (July 19 1999 - February. 19 2019, 2020), professionally known as Pop Smoke was an American artist. Victor Victor Worldwide, Republic Records and Bashar Barakah were his record labels. Pop Smoke gained popularity as the Brooklyn drill producer by working alongside UK producer 808Melo Axl Beats & Yoz Beatz. In April 2019 he released the song Welcome to the Party the first single from his debut mixtape Meet the Woo which was launched in July of this year. Two remixes were recorded of the track Welcome to the Party in August 2019, featuring American hip-hop artist Nicki Minaj and British Rapper Skepta. In April of 2019 Pop Smoke released his breakout single Welcome to the Party the first single from his mixtape debut, Meet the Woo (2019). The track was remixed twice, one with Nicki Minaj and the other with Skepta in the month of August, 2019. It was praised due to its use of UK drill production, which is later heard in his discography. Collaborations with 808Melo as well as British drill producer 808Melo may be one of the reasons for this. Mpr Flexin, Dior and other songs are also well known. After the successful release with Welcome to the Party Welcome to the Party, his collaborations with famous artists to create singles like War featuring Lil Tjay or 100k on the Coupe featuring Calboy. Gatti is the newest single taken from the JackBoys album of 2019, which Scott and Cactus Jack are a part of.
