Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist who has a unique style. Baker was born April 22 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. into an extended family that was of English Scottish and German descent. When he was a kid Baker, he spent a good amount of time travelling with his parents, who were missionaries. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker's father moved with him to Denver and lived with the home of his aunt. Baker's lack of resources was a reason for bullying by kids in the area. As he entered the sixth grade, Baker started to learn rap. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born April 22, 1990, in Texas. He is known for fusing hip-hop that is contemporary and alternative with rock music into his songs. Before signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010. In the wake of delivering his lyrics faster than a bullet train the Cleveland rapper saw a rapid rise to fame in 2011. He went from releasing self-released tapes before being signed to labels. Then his career exploded and each album charting in the top 10.

Linney was born into an actor's family, since her father Romulus Linney plays a writer.
