Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist and currently is a competitor in the UFC flyweight division. She is also the elder sister of the former UFC Flyweight champion and co- UFC fighter Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko started her combat sporting career by becoming an Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko took the title and beat Suzane Miller at the end of the tournament by an unanimous decision. Antonina won a medal of silver in 2007 and she also won a bronze medal in 2008 and a medal with gold in 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion of 2016 by IFMA. Antonia began her professional career in 2003 and was the winner of an award at the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in the year 2016. Antonina's final bout took place at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. The fight was won unanimously. Antonina Schevchenko kicked off the professional phase of her MMA professional career back in the year 2002, with an impressive win against Anara Baanova at the KFK Championships of Kyrgystan.
