Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch, an American comedic actress and television host is best known for her role as the host in Dinner and a Movie. In addition, she has been active in promoting the environment and human rights. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times Best-Seller author as well as a an internationally acclaimed actor, was The New York Times's Top-Seller Author of her memoirs Wherever You Are There Then I'm Sure You Made An Effort I say Tomato When you say Fired, I say Shut Up and was fired. This was also the Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was the long time host of the TBS show Dinner & a Movie and TV viewers will remember her unforgettable appearances on various shows, including Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown and also as hosts of the sustainable series WA$TED, which aired on The Planet Green Network. She appears regularly as a guest on PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher on NPR. She also contributes Op-eds to the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter. The New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times have ranked her in their annual Top Ten performances of the year in her performance on stage. Annabelle is an experienced woman who imparts her knowledge on aging and how to smile at the aging process in an age-defying society.
