Molly Tarlov

Molly Tarlov, an American actor who has been appearing in Awkward since 2011 and is also known by the name of Sadie Saxton. Tarlov is the eldest of two girls, was raised and born at Manhattan, New York. As a ten year old, Tarlov began her acting career through the show Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The 7th graders who attended the show were very impressed. Later in her career she pursued studies at NYU Tisch at Paris as well as the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. She had the opportunity to learn a variety different styles of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company is where she also studied. At the LAByrinth Theater, the Master Class, she managed to integrate writing and acting. Molly traded in her black winter jacket in exchange for the pair of glasses she had bought and set off to Los Angeles. Molly quickly got a three-word appearance on iCarly which attracted lots of attention to her mother. In the years since she's had a number of TV appearances. Most recently, she was a creation of Caitlin's character on Winnie Woodman, as well as Savannah Dooley's ABC Family series Huge. Molly is a fan of thinking she's a basketball pro even though she's not. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
